Sets are absorbent
pads that have been impregnated
with a
nutrient media, dehydrated
and sterilized.
They are ready to use
immediately once they
have been reactivated
by wetting them with
3.5 ml of sterile demineralized
or distilled
water. The dosing syringe
16685-2 with a
Minisart 17597 K filter
is ideal for wetting
the Nutrient Pad Sets.
Available in a variety
of types of culture
media, Nutrient Pad Sets
come with the
appropriate membrane
filters to ensure optimum
retention and colony
growth. You can
choose between 47 and
50 mm membrane
filter diameters. Our
standard box contains
100 sterile Nutrient
Pads, each pre-plated
in a Petri dish (bags
of 10 each) and sterile,
with individually packaged
membrane filters.
